The Larkin Street Youth Services location on 1020 Haight Street had a successful planting day on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Transforming the nonprofit’s front entrance area into a place for edible gardening, volunteers planted a Just One Tree Meyer lemon tree to greet visitors with its fragrant blooms. This Larkin Street Youth Services branch supports homeless youth ages 18-24 with 15 beds, work training courses, and educational services under the oversight of guidance counselors.
